Jermain Defoe: Bradley Lowery will always be in my heart

Jermain Defoe breaks down at the end of his Bournemouth unveiling press conference when asked about Bradley Lowery.

Big heart of Bournemouth's striker Jermain Defoe couldn't handle such a grief when he found out that his biggest fan died at the age of 6.

Bradley Lowery was a strong, brave boy that was in constant battle with very rare form of cancer - neuroblastoma.

It is a type of cancer that most commonly afflicts babies and young children, and it afflicts around 100 children a year in the United Kingdom.

Lowery was battling this disease all his life, but he was full of life, and just loved soccer, especially Jermain Defoe.

Bradley Lowery has managed to beat his illness, but cancer came back in 2016.

Family was in a middle of collecting money for his surgery abroad, when they heard terrible news from their doctor - the cancer became terminal.

The money they have gathered will be put into the Bradley Lowery Foundation, that will support all others that are fighting this sort of cancer.

Young Lowery was named Child of Courage at the Pride of North East Awards, in May this year, and Defoe who attended the ceremony said that relationship with Bradley changed him, and it was surely the highlight of this year.

So, prepare your paper tissues and find out how Defoe reacted when asked about Lowery.
